Rwanda

Where healing meets hills, and silence carries memory.

I stood among Kigali’s hills, knowing this country carries both heartbreak and hope. The Genocide Memorials are a sobering reminder of a past that must never be forgotten. Yet Kigali today rises clean, modern, ambitious, often called the "Singapore of Africa."

Mist clings to the volcanic slopes in the north, where mountain gorillas move through the forest like shadows. At Lake Kivu, stillness lingers over the water, while in Akagera, lions roam again across golden savannas. Rwanda doesn’t shout. It listens, heals, and rebuilds. And it invites you in - not just to see its beauty, but to understand the strength behind it.
